Marshan Township is located in eastern Dakota County, south of the city of Hastings. It was named after Michael Marsh and his wife, Ann. Marsh platted and owned Marshan City and served as postmaster until the city was abandoned in the late 1850s. We plan to continue adding new features, so please stop back soon.
